Curry House - Rooms 3 & 4

The hotel had no staff to check us in, which is fine I guess since opening the room door was by code. However, the room was pretty small, expecially the showers were super cramped and since we got the roof bedroom the shower became really hot during the day. another thing about the shower- the stream is pretty poor and damaged, it barely gave out water and it took quite a few twisting and twearling to get hot water. There was no room service and no water on the propery, good thing I brought 6 bottles of water in advance. Overall the property was nice and very stylish. I just wish they'd make it a custom to have a teapot in every room or or complementary milk in the fridge to go with the coffee machine they do give you, since the amount paid is pretty expensive for merely a bed and 4 walls and a lowesy shower. We really degenerated as a society if we're willing to pay over a 100 $ for a minimalistic night stay. Also the pool looked lovely but seeing there's no staff on the perimeter really made me think they probably didn't maintain the pool water in a long time, so probably would be the best choice to stay out.

For the price point it was fine. Clean. Comfortable bed. Only complaint is AC unit needs to be stronger. I was on 3rd floor and it was hit due to heat rising. If I were to rebook I’d book a room on ground floor. Otherwise I was satisfied. Price point delivered.

Negatives: Pool chairs broken. AC is an issue in Common areas. Not enough ice. We had to purchase from grocery. Positive: Room was clean. Had a pool. Location to Duval Street. Bed was comfortable.

I thought right off for the cost of the use of the room I leased for my 1 week stay was adequate and served my needs.. I found in my discovery of the local area that you did not have to spend a large bit of money to eat at 1 of the local area restaurants every night, because a short walk up the street is a great little market that has some pretty good hot meals instead of eating out..! You will find a nice pool to relax in and in your room you should find a small fridge large enough to hold all your refreshment needs.. I did think that the lack of a ice machine on the property was a down fall on management's part.. So buy ice for your refreshments.. All in all I had a great stay at the Curry House and look forward to my next visit with them..

I was surprised by some negative reviews. My room was excellent with very comfy queen bed, cold AC and in a great location. It was an easy walk over to Duvall street. Has pool out back too. Bathroom is a little tight, but overall will stay there again.

No WIFI information was included upon arrival. No breakfast was served for a BED AND BREAKFAST establishment. Didn't have any schedule or any other information other than how to get inside property and time of check out.

Too noisy for restful sleep

What breakfast? You mean coffee and a granola bar?

The shower was dangerous. Shower was not finished. The room too small for all the furniture in it.
