The location is really beautiful, a peaceful village with traditional streets and houses and near by the property , there is a market and 3 tavernes where is delicious food. The people are friendly and authentic. The property is also great, a renovated apartament , the bedroom , 2 bathrooms, a living room, it has air conditioner in the both rooms, the kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook, I didn’t really use it, but has a washing machine, an oven , an induction cooktop. Everything was clean and comfortable. And if you have anything to ask , the host is very prompt. I highly recommended.

The apartment is spacious enough for two persons and beautifully decorated.The bathrooms are very beautiful and the bed is good. The jacuzzi is a luxury and is wonderful even during a heathwave! The fact that restaurants and a supermarket are in walking distance is a big plus. We spent many evenings at Giannikos Tavern! A drive into Rethymno takes only 10 min. And the beaches in the north and south are easily to reach by car.

There is a lot of renovating going on in the streets and next door so this meant we were up very early a lot of days because of jackhammers and other building sounds. This also meant we could not enjoy the terrace because of the noise. Luckily we went away for the day most of the time. In the late afternoon and evening the terrace was a nice place to be. Of course the owner can't influence this but in communication we were basically told we just had bad luck....
