Punta Mare Villa 2

The Villa is lovely and just what we needed. We had a few teething problems to begin with but the host quickly sorted these: Yani (the host) was brilliant. The problems on arrival were; A trail of ants across the kitchen floor, the shower drain was blocked, there was no ironing board, no toaster, no clothes pegs and only 5 cloths hangers. One of the sunbeds was ripped and there were only tiny coffee cups with no handles. Within an hour the ants were gone and we didn't see them again, and by the next morning we had a new toaster, ironing board, cloths pegs and cloths hangers, 2 large coffee mugs with handles and the sun lounger had been swapped and the shower drain cleared. We were very happy with this resolution. The pool is great, the back yard is private and the rest of the villa is just great. The TV's are massive and very good quality with free WiFi throughout you can get internet TV no problem. The location is ok, walking distance into the town centre and the beach but walking all around to these by road is a bit of a pain as you have to go back on yourself, but we found a path through an abandoned back garden which took the annoying bit of the walk away. There are some really nice restaraunts nearby and lots in the town centre. It's perfect for couples a lovely quiet island, with no gangs of drunken youngsters. The villa is new, clean, bright and private, the kitchen is not the best equiped we've ever seen but we ate out most nights so it worked for us.

The only strange thing which we couldn't understand was you cannot open the curtains to the patio doors. They just don't slide along the curtain poles at all and there are no tie backs! Our solution was to use sunbed towel clips to peg them back, which was ok but a little strange.

Le ville sono molto carine e curate. Ben arredate e con tutti i confort. La piscina fantastica è godibile nel pomeriggio al ritorno dal mare Letto comodissimo

C’è poca privacy perché le folle sono separate da un muro e se accanto trovi famiglia con bambini è finita la pace

Extra clean , very nice private pool, huge TV, very good mattress, fully equipped kitchen

Minor wifi connectivity issues (but not annoying) , bathroom sink position (low with high miror)
