The kitchen had everything necessary. The internet was excellent.

The apartment is located in a part of Las Palmas that is particularly windy. Sunlight only enters the room in the late afternoon, and on some days it felt quite chilly without air conditioning. Communication with the hosts was very difficult. They cannot be reached by phone, and via WhatsApp only in writing. Since they respond only when it suits them, issues remain unresolved. Upon arrival, we discovered that the shower drain was clogged. Fortunately, this problem was fixed quickly. However, our request to have the bed linen and towels changed at the end of each week was not handled in the same way. We have visited the Canary Islands many times, and since we usually stay for several weeks, this service has always been provided to us, even free of charge. This time we rented the apartment for a month and assumed such a request would be easy to accommodate. But it wasn’t. First, they stalled us for a long time, saying they would escalate the request to their team. Then they sent us a set of very old sheets and towels and told us to wash and change everything ourselves in the following weeks. Apparently, almost 1,000 euros per week is not enough to offer decent service. We found the hosts' behaviour extremely unwelcoming.

Pas d'eau chaude pendant toute la durée du séjour car le ballon d'eau chaude. La réponse du propriétaire c'était de nous proposer de 'se baigner dehors aux douches qui sont devant la plage' sans proposer de compensation ou remboursement. Terrible expérience.

Arrival key codes didn't work, no spare bed as I requested, no hot water for a shower, no water in the bathroom sink.......

Well located

They let us check in at 15h, however the room was not even ready when we entered. There were still trash bags left, the bed was not made, there were still plates left near to the sink. After talking with the contact, they asked us to wait until 18h to move in, which was so unpleasant after a long travel. The apartment (actually the whole building) has an oily smell, likely due to the nearby restaurants. The water heater was broken during the last night with a lot of water leaking.

It was advertised as having a balcony - IT DID NOT HAVE A BALCONY ! Tried to speak with the owner/ agent - nothing ! Spoke with Booking.com - got back to us within 24 hours, as promised - offering nothing - no compensation or relocation! The whole reason for booking this apartment was that it was supposed to have a balcony ! Poor service all round !
