Beautiful property with amazing staff — the perfect, relaxing end to our Sri Lanka holiday. We would highly recommend Uga Riva!

From the very start of our stay, we were invited into this marvellous hotel with smiles and a refreshing face cloth and tasty beverage. The staff, the food, the grounds and swimming pool were excellent in all respects. The situation of the hotel is perfect for some peace and relaxation either after or before a flight. Highly recommended!

We had a pleasant stay at this charming hotel, highlighted by friendly and attentive service. The food was excellent, with great quality and taste. The property itself is beautifully designed in a colonial style, with lovely rooms and a well-maintained, peaceful atmosphere. With only seven rooms, the hotel offers a very personal and intimate experience, which we truly appreciated. Another big advantage is the quiet location, while still being conveniently close—just about 30 minutes—from Colombo Airport (CMB).

Das Zimmer war zur Straße hin ausgerichtet und dadurch sehr laut. Im Vorhinein hatte ich um ein ruhiges Zimmer gebeten und die Antwort erhalten "nach Verfügbarkeit". Vor Ort stellte sich heraus, dass beide Zimmer dieser Kategorie zur Straße hin ihre Fenster haben. Da es aber keine richtigen Glasfenster gibt, war es uns viel zu laut.
