The DreamHouse - inner City Center - Old Town

We stayed at Anita's place during a week. The apartment was perfect for a small family like ours - it is located in the historic centre, right next to the harbour, a short walking distance away from all amenities and activities. The host was careful to see that we had all we required, to assist and advise as necessary. Highly recommended.

Heel fijn appartement voor ons gezin van vier op een perfecte locatie. Supermarkt en parkeergarage op 1 minuut lopen, Bryggen slechts 5 minuten. Contact met de eigenaresse was vriendelijk, heel snel en duidelijk.

Convenient location within walking distance of shops and Bryggen area. Picturesque street and cosy modernised apartment in an old building. Host was very prompt and helpful with questions before we arrived. Very well-appointed kitchen with personal touches we appreciated like tea, milk, sweets etc and a welcoming note. Washing machine was great! Quite generous sitting area, tastefully decorated. Comfortable bedding.

Bijou wet-room though manageable with care. Small bedroom with one side of the bed right against the wall. No vehicle access to apartment (we knew this previously). Had issues with parking app at nearby public car-park (not host's fault). Steep cobbled street, care needed when walking, especially with cases.

Excellent location and very original. Smart layout with storage room. Very good sleeping sofa for two.

Not only her accommodation, but Anita herself is a very very kind and helpful owner too! If I could give her a higher rating than 10 I would! She helped us generously and immediately when the owner of our next apartment became difficult and suspicious to us about a problem with our booking app. he did not believe we were the tenants. She called him to explain the situation in Norwegian. all information provided by Anita in advance is extensive and complete. She responds quickly and understandingly to messages and questions. the apartment has a comfortable, cozy, homely atmosphere. It is very clean, and everything is provided (even coffee—decaf included—which is very nice after a day of travel). The sofa bed and topper are great for when there are three of you. Centrally located, with a bakery and supermarket just around the corner. Nice, complete kitchen with everything you need. Beds were great too. Anita let us leave our luggage in the hallway for a few hours on the day of checkout. She didn't have to that but because we had checked-out already but she was helpful to us! I you choose this apartment you will feel at home and relaxed in a foreign country. Heartwarming both the place and its host!! If you like to watch netflix away from home thats possible too on the tv, just log-in on your account.

Anita is an excellent communicator and was very helpful in assisting us with extra nights in another accommodation as she was full.
