Amazing stay

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary at the Mokara Hotel in San Antonio, and I can honestly say it was one of the most memorable and heartfelt stays we’ve ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly special. When we walked into our room, we were greeted with a chilled bottle of champagne on ice, delicious chocolates, and a thoughtful congratulations card a beautiful surprise that truly set the tone for the weekend. Throughout our two-night stay, the service was exceptional. On our first evening, we realized we had accidentally left our wine and champagne in the car. When we mentioned this to the staff, they immediately sent valet down to retrieve it for us and brought it right up to our room—no questions asked and all with a smile. The next day, I left my phone in the car and didn’t realize it until later. The valet found it, turned it in at the front desk, and they promptly called up to let me know it was safe and waiting. That level of care and honesty says everything you need to know about this team. The hotel itself is immaculately maintained, elegant, and full of charm. Every detail, from the décor to the atmosphere, reflects a level of excellence you rarely find. It’s the kind of place you look forward to returning to—and we absolutely will, every time we’re in San Antonio. We also had a wonderful dinner with our kids at the hotel restaurant to continue our anniversary celebration. Our waiter surprised us with two glasses of champagne on the house, and when the chef heard about our anniversary, he personally sent out specialty oysters topped with caviar for us to try. We felt truly pampered. To top it all off, they comped a rich, decadent chocolate lava cake for us at the end of the meal. Every member of the restaurant staff was warm, attentive, and went out of their way to make the evening extra special. We Highly recommend to anyone visiting San Antonio. We can’t wait to come

Great location and spa

The concierge is quite rude and unapproachable. One of our rooms was quite musty. Some of the valet stuff are also quite rude. One of the elevators were out, and there was made no mention of it.
