GBWe came over for a family funeral and though this was a sad event this house was perfect. Excellent location. Perfect hosts. James contacted me the night before our arrival to explain where to collect the keys and also to let me know that tea, coffee, bread, milk was available and in the house ready for our stay. We had a small child staying and there were cereals, biscuits and squash also provided. The house was clean, all bed linen and towels were provided. Just these simple touches made our stay so much better and not having to worry about buying these things. There were shops and takeaways restaurant very near by as well as the local pub serving food and drink.
The only thing I worried about was where to place all the rubbish and also the used towels and bed linen. I wasn’t sure which bin to throw things in and where to leave the dirty laundry. I didn’t like leaving the bins full and the laundry just dumped in the bathroom. This isn’t really a ‘what didn’t you like’ comment. This could have been solved by leaving a note or a book/folder of what to do with things like dirty laundry or which bin to throw things in.
GBGreat size house, all lovely and clean, in a good location. Very thoughtful owner who left bread milk cereal biscuits and lots more, arriving late with young children it was a huge help.
