Umhlanga Village - Ke Nako!

Nice apartment, good location, secure.

Advert said it had a private pool and gym which was the main reason i booked (as 30 degrees+) but turned out that wasn’t the case…

Very clean and well equipped Location is great for access to the beach and the many restaurants. Also Samantha was very helpful.

The pool is no longer accessible to apartment users which was a disappointment. Also as a non South African without a DSTV card I was unable to access any sport. Something to think about for overseas visitors staying for more than a few days. Nothing the owners can do about it but the boy racers with their Maserati’s and Ferrari’s are a nuisance.

There was a long queue at reception and after eventually reaching the front desk they did not have a booking as manager had given them the incorrect names and dates. Extremely unprofessional all around.

This is possibly the worst accommodation I have ever stayed at. Firstly there could have been more details address details as even our Uber did not know of apartments, simply adding to website go to the Radisson Blu and reception on the same floor to the left would have been extremely helpful. We are from Cape Town and do not know the area. Secondly reception was very poorly organized and managed to eventually get hold of manager who was elsewhere we managed to get our keys as they had incorrect booking. We zero information on restaurants etc. received. The noise from the mall next door is next level and there parties going on until 3am!!!!!!! I had to buy ear plugs for the second night. Even after phone calls to The Black Club and mall security nothing could be done about the music. I'm actually still in shock this was allowed to happen. Worst bed with awful high wooden legs so you keep on bumping into it when you walk around as room very small. The previous guests dirty clothing and stinky sneakers still in cupboards to greet us. No hand towel provided. Shower door opens out and mat too thick so you have to move it and drip all over floor before stepping on mat.

We loved almost everything about it. The unit has everything you need to make your stay feel like a home away from home. It is also in a prime location.

The bed corner. We kept banging against the bed corners and have ended up with some bruises.

I had to sit an extra hour to check in as apartment wasn’t clean Bedding was damp and pillows were not great The flat was untidy paint cracked the ceiling has a leak that left a stain Samantha had to purchase new bedding and put it on Really doesn’t give luxury stay
