ММ GROUP APARTMENT

The apartment is very new and in a quiet but convenient location only 15 minutes walk to the town centre. The hosts are very professional and accommodating, and nothing is too much trouble. Our apartment had wonderful views over the town from the good sized balcony. Highly recommended and we will definitely return next time we're in Uzghhorod.

Modern clean. Good bathroom shower and kitchen facilities

1-Language barrier. The booking was made in English through booking.com. Communication from property was in Ukrainian which was not clear to understand. 2-Payment confusion. The booking.com booking site required a credit card to secure the booking. The website page instructions indicated we would pay at the property and may use cash, Visa or Mastercard. On route an message was sent to me requiring me to wire full payment to an account using an international bank transfer. I was prepared to pay in cash or VISA. However the text message clearly stated that they would need the bank transfer receipt prior to providing the codes to enter the property. This was quite problematic as I was unable to do this on my for bank account in USA on my mobile phone while outside the country. the wire transfer feed charged would greatly exceed the cost more than the lodging cost itself. I had to ask a local friend to do this after giving them cash. This was an ordeal to arrange in transit to the property. These instructions did not coincide with the instructions on the website. 3-The apartment was actually an oversized studio, with designated spaces for siting at table or on sofabed, and main bed, It was clean and met our needs perfectly. Nice toilet and shower. 4-There were no keys' for the apartment. Instructions and door and apartment codes were provided, The directions to the apartment building was confusing as the building is still under construction. Once the correct entrance was found amidst construction rubble, there was a screen for code access that was not the correct device to use. As the nightlight was poor, we were unable to see that there was also a keypad adjacent to the door handle, This cannot be seen in dark ir low light. In summary it was a bit of work to gain access to the building despite calling the building agent for clarity. As stated before, it was difficult to communicate and access the property without clear and understandable language communication.
