Apartamento céntrico a 250 metros de la playa

It was very close to the beach, endless restaurants, shopping, groceries, bars, and buses and trains.

The pictures make it look nicer than it is. It is remodeled but done with too many short cuts. The shelves are all mounted at a downward slant, the tile floor is cracking, they repurposed regular door into sliding barn doors but didn’t know how to properly finish them so they are put together a little oddly. The walls both inside and out of the property are paper thin so you can hear everything in the next room as well as outside your door and on every landing in the corridor. Neighbors were loud first thing in the morning. The double bed is awful. One of the worst I’ve slept on. It is very hard and you can feel all the springs through out. My kids said the twin beds were comfy though. The first day we arrived, we had to go on a wild goose chase to get the keys for check in. When we showered that night, water ran all the way out the shower, across the bathroom floor, and into the hall. The problem was obvious given that there shower door was not sealed to the shower pan and there was no caulking to keep the water in the shower. My husband being a contractor, figured this out quickly and was able to put a butter knife under the shower door between the pan to illustrate that there was no caulking and a large gap. I notified the property manager immediately and requested new towels since we were staying 5 nights and had to use our towels to mop up the floors. The manager told us this had never happened before and inferred that we might have done something which was nowhere near the truth. He told us not to “splash in the shower.” It took a few days for them to rectify the problem so my husband had to engineer a way to prevent it from leaking out during subsequent showers. A few days later we let the manager know that there was a big sugar ant problem to which he again replied that this has never happened before and that it was incredible that two unique things would happen to the the same guests.
