Wave Stay Hostel - Sea View

The host was very hospitable and kind, he genuinely loved having guests and his family were also lovely. The roof garden was absolutely beautiful.

Totally recommended!😍 This is the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in and the owner is the most welcoming and friendly host I’ve ever met. He’s such a friendly and positive person that it was a pleasure to meet him, always smiling and helpful. He greeted us with tea and snacks, l gave me an amazing and spacious room just because it was free, even though I booked only a hostel room. The breakfast is simply delicious, so much food and pf the best quality and the owner even makes sure that our cups were always full of tea. I felt more like visiting a family relative, not like staying in a hostel haha :). And the rooftop is sooo amazing and cozy, perfect spot to see the sunset, chill and relax. I’ll stay here next time I visit Morocco for sure!😁😃

It is difficult to reach to the property for the first time. At night, there are at least ten stray dogs and difficult to reach to the hostel without encountering them……. Muhammad (the hostel stuff) did not give me the key on the first day and at that night, therefore in order to get back to the hostel after the first night, I was waiting for him to open the door to the property, in the dark street full with stray dogs. He did not open the door. I kept calling him on phone for like 87 times and waited for like 45 minutes. The neighbour helps me knocked on the door. Another passerby tourist helped me, yelled at the property. Only after 50 minutes, he called me back……. Also Muhammad collected 300 DUA for each of us to surf. The normal price on the beach essays 200 DUA. He charged, already we greed without knowing the real price, 400 DUA for paradise valley trip which in fact should cost less than 200 DUA according to local taxi app….. One elderly Czech lady lost her passport and a bag …..Muhammad was constantly trying to hit on a solo female traveller, touching her and offering her things beyond her comfortable level…… The solo female traveller and I happened to be sleeping in the same room, for various silly reasons, Muhammad came into our room often in the night, disturbing my sleep….On my last night, he invited me to the underground room which I found it strange that I immediately left the hostel and slept at another property…..

Great hostel located in tamraght with an excellent rooftop overlooking the Atlantic with stunning sunsets. The food in the hostel is the best I've tasted in Morocco after 2 months. Beaches are in walking distance for surfing. Really laid-back atmosphere and Mohamed is very knowledgeable about the surf and onward travel. Highly recommended
