Les lits dans les chambres sont correctes, mais les convertibles en mezzanine sont completement incomfortables, une horreur. Draps vieux. Dans la maison il y a seulement une toute petite salle de bain pas du tout pratique a l'etage. Il propose une deuxieme salle de bain, mais il faut sortir a l'exterieur et passer au batiment a coté. Cuisine tres mal equipé et ustensiles, poeles abimés et pas tres propres. Une deuxieme cuisine a l exterieur. Micro ondes a la deuxieme cuisine, surprenant! pas du tout pratique ni comfortable En voyant les photos on peut croire que la maison est au milieu de la nature, mais juste collé derriere il y a le hangar de la ferme, et a coté de la route. Loin de tout.

Mike is very friendly and full of suggestions for having a nice time. The cottage is very beautiful and comfortable.

The double mattress in the first floor bedroom is not at all comfortable while the two single beds below are much better.

A truly special couple of days. We were greeted by Mike at the entrance and given a wonderful reception, complete with personalized history of his family's deep roots with the local area. The house is a marvel. A perfect combination of old tradition and modern comforts. It was a privilege to stay there, would recommend to anyone passing through the area

One of those places where everything is so fundamentally great that to even start complaining about the TV not working perfectly just seems churlish.

A Magical Step Back in Time! Our two-night stay at this 300-year-old traditional stone cottage was easily the highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we had been transported back in time, yet the cottage was spotlessly clean and perfectly equipped with everything we needed to feel right at home. We had a bit of a rough start to the day with a flat tire and a vehicle swap, which resulted in a very late arrival. Mike was absolutely wonderful about it! He met us in the dark with a flashlight to help us navigate the windy driveway and gave us a warm welcome that immediately put us at ease. Mike’s hospitality didn't stop there—he sat down with us and shared a wealth of local information and history, helping us plan exactly what to see during our two days in the area. His recommendations were incredibly helpful and made our short stay so much more meaningful. The kids were especially thrilled to see the horses on the property! If you are looking for a unique, historic, and cozy place to stay with an exceptional host, look no further. We absolutely loved it and can't recommend it enough!

Many nooks to settle with a book or relax in front of the fire. Fresh country air and walks at the doorstep. All of the comforts you need in your little home away from home. Thank you Mike for your hospitality, company and rich knowledge of Irish history and sharing the history of this home and the area with us.

It was a beautiful place, and even more beautiful after the host Mike gave us the history of it , I even started to read a book he had there about Lady Gregory and I ordered it when I got home so that I could finish it, Mike had the stove lit and the place was so cosy and warm whenwelanded, it was hard imagine it was SO old and stone because of the comfort, it was a home away from home with everything that you could possibly need, and the sauna ❤️ was an added bonus of pure relaxation, all in all we truly enjoyed our stay, thank you Mike for sharing the history and the pleasure of enjoying the work you have done restoring and keeping the pure character of the cottage ,
