"Exceptional"

We were staying due to national swimming event at Swansea pool. The house was shared by 3 Coaches. We were a 10 mins drive from pool. The house gave us the benefit of eating early and later if required. The house was clean and tidy and had all the furnishing's required.

There was ample on street parking for 3 vehicles but on a steep hill.

"AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!"

Location was good due to where I needed to visit

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! Don't be deceived by the photos! Expected better as this property is managed by a company but we was very wrong! 1. Misleading Information Regarding Cot Availability Prior to booking, the listing stated that a cot was available upon request. I contacted, Mark, who responded: "Regarding the cot, we will be able to confirm this closer to the date, but no worries, I'll make sure to keep you updated once I hear a response from the team." I replied that I would wait for confirmation, and followed up again the day before arrival to check on the arrangement. I received no response, and as expected, upon arrival there was no cot provided. This was extremely important as I was travelling with my 5-month old baby, and the lack of this essential item added unnecessary stress and discomfort to our stay. Cleanliness and Hygiene Concerns The property had a strong musky, damp odour upon entry, and it was immediately evident that it had not been cleaned properly. We found rubbish from previous guests in the bins and in bags outside the property. The bathroom had visible hair, and there was even feces on the toilet seat cover, something I was forced to clean myself, which was completely unacceptable. 3. Health and Safety Hazards Several areas of the property posed serious safety risks: Parts of the ceiling in multiple rooms were flaking and falling, requiring constant cleaning A broken door handle on the first-floor rear bedroom. Damp and mould issues, poorly concealed with white paint all across the property The toilet on the first floor was not secured to the floor and rocked when used. Floorboards throughout the property are loose and not properly secured to the joists. In some areas, we could hear gas pipes rattling underneath so we had to avoid walking over those areas clearly a major safety hazard. I paid over £400 for this booking and expected a clean, safe, and accurately advertised odation.

"Very very very bad"

First of all property completely damaged and smelly like a dead mouse carpets are smelling like a shit all the walls and outside kitchen area is yellowish and dirty and most excellent thing washroom water is not going in to the drain is coming out on sitting area completely unliveable property

it has good decorations and plenty room

The property was poorly maintained and had an unpleasant smell throughout. It wasn’t clear from the pictures that the kitchen is located in the basement, which had a strong odor of cigarette smoke. One of the bathrooms was leaking, and water was dripping into one of the bedrooms below, which was quite concerning. Overall, the condition of the house did not meet expectations, and it did not offer good value for money.

"Great stay, perfect house for a large group with good facilities."

Great stay, really liked the house. 4 good sized bedrooms and the additional shower room upstairs was really handy. Nice and clean and in a great location to get into Swansea with easy parking as well. Thought it was great value for our stay. Will definitely stay again!

"This Needs a Good Clean"

It was in a good location for what we needed. We have family close to the house so we picked this home due to how close our family was. It made it easy for us to get to see our family and for our kids to play in the park that was close to the house.

Overall, our experience at this property was disappointing due to cleanliness issues. We chose this house for its convenient location near family in Manselton, and the online photos made it appear clean and tidy. Upon checking in, we noticed a few marks on the walls, which we initially attributed to normal wear and tear. However, the following day, we discovered a significant amount of dirt and marks on the walls, along with dust and cobwebs throughout the house. Considering the $70 cleaning fee, the level of cleanliness was quite surprising. The backyard was particularly concerning, as it was filled with trash, including bottles, cans, plastic, toys, and broken glass. Additionally, the grass appeared to have not been cut in some time. The property listing mentioned a TV in every room, which was accurate, but none of the TVs were connected to a television aerial, limiting them to pre-installed apps. As non-UK residents, we were unable to access many of the available apps. Several blinds in the house were broken and could not be opened or tilted, which was inconvenient. Being a company-owned property, it lacked the personal touch and hospitality often found in family-owned homes. There was no welcome book or instructions for using the house's amenities. Fortunately, we did not require heating, as the weather was warm. While there were a few tea bags, coffee, sugar, and milk sachets provided, as well as body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, the towels supplied in each room would have been insufficient if the house were fully occupied. When I contacted the company to address these issues, they requested that I send images via WhatsApp. They responded by arranging for a contractor to address some concerns, such as cutting the grass and removing some rubbish from the backyard. However, broken glass remained on the path even after the cleanup.
