D&S - Palácio dos Príncipes

Melhor hospedagem da minha viagem. Quarto amplo, limpo, bem equipado, iluminado, arejado e excelente localização. Cheguei antes do horário e como o quarto já estava pronto me liberaram entrada.

The room was amazing, a literal palace! We had just come from Lisbon, where we had a barren room with a bed in it for the same price as this beautiful apartment! The terrace was magical, location perfection - walkable to all Porto things; the kitchen had everything you could need; bathroom was clean and even had a towel heater (lux!); bed was comfortable; air conditioning worked well. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Check-in was difficult because the door code provided didn't work, so we had to wait in the rain while someone came to manually open the door for us. To their credit, they were very responsive via messaging, and as swift as they could have been in getting there to help us. The toilet paper provided was moldy upon check-in, so we ran to the corner store to get a new pack.

La ubicacion

Well located and quiet studio apartment..20 minutes walk to historic center. The apartment cannot be directly accessed by taxi, because the area is closed off to most traffic. We found this to be a positive, as it kept noise levels low. The apartment was clean and well appointed. The Murphy bed was comfortable.

We never met a host, but the instructions to get entry were fairly simple, once we paid the final required city tax and the code was released to us to gain entry. The electronic keypad was a bit temperamental. The lack of meeting a host seemed somewhat challenging, unfriendly and unwelcoming, but once we got used to the idea, it was fine.

Air com doesn’t seem to work properly

The building and flat are beautiful, the decoration and view are stunning. The apartment is also very well located with options for free parking.
