Amazing property and hosts. Great location with a short walk to both a subway and bus stop that gets you anywhere in Kyoto. The host meets you at the location during check in and gives a comprehensive review of the apartment and gives several suggestions to visit in the area. Very stylish and functional unit. One of the best I have stayed at and would enthusiastically recommend to anyone in the future who comes to Kyoto.

The property was very clean, spacious, comfortable and the location was very good

The only down side to the property it did not have any place to unpack clothes into (i.e. no cupboards, chest of drawers, etc.)

Great location with easy access to the subway and 24 hour grocery store. The home was comfortable with all the modern amenities; a Japanese style traditional living room gave us a unique feel of living in Japan. Kitchen was well-equipped allowing for cooking. The home was spacious and we could spread out. Thanks to the hosts for a comfortable and memorable stay in Kyoto!

Location, look/feel and host communication.

Could have had some extra pillows on the beds and maybe some lounge chairs or sofa so there was somewhere comfortable to sit with back support.

Some luggage / storage space would be great. but we managed ok. Mattress was a little too hard but we solved that by adding a doona on top so all good :) Otherwise we loved it!

The property is absolutely beautiful, decorated with great taste. it is ideally situated in Kyoto in a quiet street. Perfect stay! our host was so kind and helped us with booking a restaurant.

Stunning attention to detail in a magnificent old style Kyoto townhouse. Loved the warmed tatami mat room with a view to the outdoor garden on one side and a view to the internal meditation zone on the other side. The upstairs kids room was big enough for three large teenagers. All the rooms had fantastic heating, beautiful intimate lighting and very comfortable beds/ futons. For a truly memorable and magical experience, stay here!!! It was so lovely we even cooked so we could appreciate the townhouse more!! ( supermarket only 100m away) The hostess, Hana, was super helpful. She was fluent in English. She Explained how to use the house (stove, heating, washing machine, etc) Hana suggested some places to visit and encouraged us to contact them via WhatsApp to ask any sightseeing questions or house questions. Exceptional customer service.
