Perfectly situated to enjoy Kyoto. Nice quiet area with supermarkets, nice restaurants and bars just around the corner. Walking distance (if you like walking, otherwise close to the tube) to Nishiki Market area and other must see tourist attractions.

Stove and cooking area isn’t the best but it is functional.

The property was very clean and comfortable. It was also exceptionally spacious, which was perfect for us with a toddler and a 4-year old. The stairs to the second floor sleeping area were steep (as in all Japanese houses) but the door at the bottom made us feel safe knowing that our toddler could not access the stairs. The owners were extremely helpful, providing some toys for the kids to play with and going the extra mile to unexpectedly help us and our luggage in the walk to the subway station. Anything we needed, they were able to help us with and this made the stay so much more comfortable. The property has a separate entry foyer (great for storing the stroller, shoes, jackets, extra luggage etc ) as well as defined kitchen, dining, living areas, bath and shower room, laundry and the huge upstairs sleeping area I would not have thought I could find a place so spacious in Kyoto, especially for this price. A few minutes walk to supermarket, convenience stores, subway station and bus stop. Less than 10 minutes by train to Kyoto station.

Nothing, but the walks to Nijo-jo and the Imperial palace were both longer than expected from looking at the map.

The owner will welcome you with a big level of friendly, she will explain to you how the whole apartment works and she will give you some gifts. big +1 for the little quest given by the owner during your stay. The check-in was smooth and the check-out was out of the world, the owner help us until the subway to thanks us. The appartement was well equiped withba simple shower, 2 WC (soo good), and god the futon was godlike 👌 Soo, one of the best welcome in all my travel.

Nothings was disappointing all was perfect 👌👌 thank you very much 🙏 If i can add something to update the appartement : -Put a smart TV for more japanese and international contents -And give something for the visitors to hide the emergency exit sign light cause in the night that's really luminious

Very clean and large rooms, easy to access to stations.

Nothing to be bad. We were highly satisfied with the accommodate and its services.
