This review is lifted from an initial 1 out of 10 only because the owners themselves are genuinely lovely people. They responded quickly one evening to help reset the power, which we deeply appreciated. That said, this property has significant room for improvement. It could easily reach an 8 out of 10 rating. Our hope is that this feedback will be taken seriously to improve the experience for future guests. 1) Communication: Guests should never go three days without a response, even over a weekend. A quick message to acknowledge, even if an answer isn’t immediately available goes a long way. 2) Cleanliness & Maintenance (Highest Priority) - The property must be professionally cleaned and inspected! - We found mold and moisture buildup behind the toilet, around the shower, and behind the duvet. It was visible and disgusting. - A leaking toilet, which was likely the main cause for the mold and odor issue which we had to dentify and then wait days for resolution (and response) while trying to remedy ourselves with Lysol and paper towels etc. - Dirty dishes in both the sink and dishwasher upon arrival. The dishwasher itself was in a horrifically unsanitary rancid state, filled with old water (also the filter and tray from under the bottom rack was up in main area where dishes go) and it had old stagnant water filled in the bottom and was emitting a revolting odor that would cause 100 out of 100 people to gag or vomit. 3) Bedding lacking. - Suggest replacing the heavy dark red comforter in the second bedroom. It gives off a dated, unclean impression. It was also stuffed in a dessert drawer and we had zero blankets for the two primary sleeping areas. - suggest providing an additional full set of clean bedding 4) Basic Supplies lacking: Stocking essential items like laundry detergent, dishwashing soap, paper towels, salt, wine glasses.

The flat is super spacious and located in the Center of Cagliari. Nice for exploring the city. Very cheap compared to others.

It wasn’t clean at all. Bathroom floor was full with hair and dust in every corner. Super gross.
