Noisy loud construction workers around 24/7

1. The villa is new and the host, Ms Anik, was friendly and helpful. She arrived personally and welcomed us into the villa during our check in process, which was simple and fast. Ms Anik was also always prompt in responding to our questions and provided quick and clear responses. 2. The housekeeping staff was on time and effective in keeping the villa clean and spotless. 3. The villa's rooms are spacious. The rooms are equipped with aircons, which work well, and the sliding glass doors are fitted with double black-out curtains for additional privacy. One of the rooms has an access to a small back patio that boasted a nice padi field view. 4. Bathrooms are also well-lit, spacious, and clean (no bathtub). Amenities are quite complete, with wall-mounted shampoo, conditioner and body wash (all by the brand Sensatia) and comes with fresh towels. Hairdryers (strong wind and good heat) are also available at each bathrooms for guests usage. 5. The pool area, day beds and water are clean and fresh pool towels are also available. 6. Kitchen has a big fridge and has most of the basic necessities such as utensils (with cooking spatulas), plates, bowls, and different types of drink wares that included wine glasses (wine opener is provided). There is also pot and pan if you do need to warm up or cook simple meal. There is Nespresso machine for coffee though we may miss out on where the coffee pods were. Water filter is also readily available for hot, warm and cold water. 7. Dining area could sit up to 4 pax and the circular sitting area is comfortable as there is ceiling fan. 8. Small details are also appreciated, as there is no cover between the bedrooms and the pool and kitchen/sitting area, the villa has prepared umbrellas outside of each room and drying rack is also prepared for guests to dry off their bathing suits.

1. The villa is located almost at the end of a small one-way alley and a bit off the main street. The street leading to the villa is also a slope so this may prove a bit of challenge if you do travel with elderly/young toodlers where special mobility devices are needed such as wheelchair and/or pram. 2. We visited during a time where construction works are ongoing around the villa so noise pollution is definitely high, starting as early as 8.30 AM till later in the evening around 8.30PM. The noises mostly will hinder the complete relaxing ambience by the pool or at the dining area, and minimal disturbance inside the bedrooms. Also due to the construction works, it makes it a bit inconvenience for our rental car and driver to maneuver the drop-off and pick-up especially on rainy day. 3. The number of flies hovering around the dining area that attack the foods during meal time also was a turn-off. The villa could provide some insect repellents/fly deterrent to help in this situation. 4. There is no TV. While we did not really mind but this may proof as a challenge for families that need to entertain the children during downtime. 5. While we are thankful for the bidet in the bathrooms, the water pressure and the output are uncomfortable for washing so the villa may want to look into rectifying this.
