The Loft - Shemara

Lovely host who was quick to respond, and great facilities. A small food hamper was a nice welcome and there was an information pack on things to do in the area. The host is very knowledgeable and could advise us on ferry times, dry cleaner opening times, etc. The sheep in the field next to the house was a lovely countryside surprise

Lovely space which perfectly suited the needs of our trip. Brilliant view from the windows of the hillside in the distance. The hosts left us a hamper upon arrival full of goodies and were also easy to contact, for example they kindly collected/emptied our bins during our stay and offered us fresh towels. Also had a TV and enough space for a cosy night in!

Elaine was super friendly and greeted us as soon as we arrived. The loft was proper cosy and cute. Had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was comfy. Had a cupboard for board games and cards which kept us occupied in the evening. Was able to come and go as we pleased. The Loft was very clean and had clear instructions for hot water and heating. Had a lovely view of the Mourne Mountains and was so peaceful.

The super soft towels, the comfy bed, the welcoming atmosphere and the lovely, tasty hamper. The surroundings were very scenic and Elaine was helpful when I reached out with issues/questions.

The somewhat peculiar, and not always convenient, location of the bathroom (it was right next door but a separate entrance to the loft itself). But it was a minor inconvenience and everything else was great.

Great location. Double aspect view of the Mourne Mountains and close to the shore. Comfortable place to stay in. Lovely decor . Comfy bed. Well kitted out kitchen, everything you need. A really quiet place, loved it 😁 When back in area I will rebook

The loft owners took great pride in their facilities. They were kind and helpful and made our stay very special.
