It was a beautiful house

It smelled badly of dog when we arrived, we couldn’t get in as the code was not working but was lucky the back door had been left unlocked the hot tub was dirty and also had to clean stains off the living room furniture the toilet down stairs could do with a good clean or replacing over all the place could do with a fresh paint

The pool and hot tub were not working. The cues for the snooker table did not have tips. The brown and pink balls were missing and one of the pockets was broken so this could not be used either. There was no hot water for most of the time and the flush was broken in one of the bathrooms. There were no HDMI cables for the TVs downstairs. The remotes were spread throughout the property and did not have batteries in. All of the windows were covered with black mould and in one of the bedrooms the window would not close. One of the bbqs had a large piece missing out of the bottom and the other had the handle missing. There were plugs hanging off the wall with exposed wiring. They also had people completing work at the property before we checked out without informing us. When I requested a partial refund they asked me to do this via the chat. After 4 days of messing me around saying they would look into this they did not respond to any of the points I had raised, and told me to go through booking.com. Definitely not luxurious, probably the worst place I have ever stayed.

Large property with very good amenities. Good size pool and large games room. Plenty of parking space available.

wifi could be better - not strong enough for all areas of property. certain areas look aged. Cannot make noise after 9:30 PM. If planning to have a late night party with music, this is not the property for you. Single glaze windows take the sound out and neighbour won't be pleased. Plenty of notices in the property warning to keep noise down after 9:30 PM.
