8QR Rooms

Nicely decorated room in central Aberdeen. Nice attentions: coffee, cookies etc.

Room door would not lock ! So When someone arrived around 3am and took a long time to get in their room, stayed awake because I knew my room wasn’t locked. Parking hard to find (we ended up parking somewhere else by inadvertance), and front door not saying where to go (only a sign for deliveries and mail, but it was also the guests’s entry…). Expensive for the type of stay (no reception, difficult parking).

Rooms were bigger than I was expecting.

Only issue i had was no hot water in the morning for a shower. But wasn't a major issue.

what could have been better ? A rug in the bedroom would add to the comfort - understand there are hygiene issues; a fridge is always nice - a bit of a stretch in these rooms. Communal area fridge ?

Nice location on Queen Street

Not a major issue but you have to go out for breakfast. I went to the restaurant at Queens Cross church and that was fine

Great location, spotlessly clean and the room was beautiful.

No staff or reception at the property, we didn’t know which keys were ours when we got there to check in.

We were at a wedding on Queens Road and stayed for a night in 8QR rooms. It was very spacious and comfortable. Suited all our needs.

It was a pleasure staying at the property and all the little touches were great. Extra tea, coffee etc. The decor was beautiful and the bedding luxurious.

Although Emma had advised via email that parking was to the rear of the property, there was no signage at the front of the property that indicated we were in the correct place.

The broom was extremely comfortable, very clean and in a great location.

I wouldn't be negative as I enjoyed my stay.
