Tanleys - Skye Pod

Jane (owner) was very friendly without interupting our stay, she met us when we arrived plus just before we left and apart from that we never really heard from her at all. The links/attachments that she sent via WhatsApp before we arrived were very informative and thorough. The facilities were clean and tidy whilst also being spacious and had all required amenities. Unfortunately the weather did not allow us to use any of the ample seating/tables outside. Bed was huge plus very comfortable. Sofa in living room was comfortable and allowed us to look out over the fields. The breakfast bar allowed 2 people plenty of room to enjoy breakfast/coffees with plenty of space. Location is perfect if you want to explore all of the outdoor activities that Aviemore and surrounding area has in abundance. Directions to the accommodation was clear and concise plus was found on Google maps. There was suitable parking for several cars within the carpark at the premises.

Nothing, Stay was very enjoyable

Perfect location for exploring the Cairngorms, cosy and quiet but not too remote. The Skye Pod has everything needed for a self-catered glampimg trip, and the towns of Aviemore and Grantown on Spey are close by if you need any supplies. Jane was an excellent host, and shared lots of local knowledge as well as information about the Skye Pod to help us prepare for and make the most of our stay. She also added some nice festive additions for our trip during the Christmas break.

Comfy and clean, everything was there that you needed

Well located fairly near a main road, so very easy to get around although a car is required. Very peaceful location and the patio area is a sun trap when the Scottish weather obliges.

Very clean, comfortable, spacious! Kitchen very well equipped. The weather was very good so we could enjoy our breakfast sitting outside

Lovely location and well positioned for visiting many different places nearby. Kitchen was well equipped and the nearby Speyside Ctr is walkable if you fancy a cooked breakfast without the cooking.

Bigger than it might look, the pod has everything I needed. The double door opening iino the private garden gives a glamping vibe. Very quiet, In the heart of wildflower country. I saw a red fern in my first evening. The owner is super friendly and helpful.
