Nice quiet location. Comfy beds. Super clean. Nice rooms!

Poor poor wifi. WiFi does not work. Not ideal when you’re travelling for work. No plug sockets by the bed. 1 sStaff member was rude when I came in trying to check in… No hello, no eye contact. No “follow me this way”. As a young solo female traveller travelling for work she really did not make me feel comfortable which was a huge shame. (I did meet lovely staff later in the evening there)

Lovely room and comfy bed in a great pub. Great food and beer. Liked having a coffee pot and fresh coffee in the room.

Everything was lovely. Could maybe do with a mirror in the bathroom.

Super friendly,very comfortable,food quality was amazing and very reasonable £ all locally sourced and the drinks as well.

This is an old building and appreciate that things can be difficult such as WiFi etc. However the room lacked something, it felt unloved. Plug points were an issue for charging up devices.

It was in a quiet area which is why we booked it, staff were lovely very friendly and helpful, garden was very spacious and ideal for the weathet we had on our visit. Room had what was needed, comfy bed great shower, parking on street within distance of Inn, will visit again.

Extractor noise outside room( nice owner next morning apologised and explained it was to do with the cellar and he.d try to sort) noise didn.t disturb once window shut and may have gone off midnight . Disapointed at no breakfast avalable on OUR day- they plan to increase - but nice cafe , few mins . Parking unclear ,we found a spot in the very busy square .There aparently IS off rd parking - But we were told none by bar staff.We suggest you ring for " yard" directions .

The friendliness and the warmth of the pub. They couldn’t do too much

Excellent accomodation, stayed the night for the Rum and Reggae party in the beer garden. Fantastic atmosphere and very friendly staff. Room is perfect for a single or couple or those traveling with a pet. Great stopover for the coast to coast cycle path. Highly recommend. Fantastic food also!
