USPortica 10 showcased the very old tastfully blended with very modern decor and fixtures. Its location in the center of the town of Assisi, near the central plaza and right across from a great cafeteria made it easy to find restaurants and key tourist sites. Access to the front door and room by key card was a plus. The hosts were very helpful and even requested taxis for us. The breakfast was beautifully presented with a variety of fruit, breads, cereal, fresh orange juice, and, of course, cappuccino (not included in cost of room).
For senior ladies, the hikes up and down in the hilltown of Assisi to visit the key sites were a challenge. Portica 10 is located on a hilly street.

DEDas historische Gebäude ist sehr ansprechend modernisiert. Für Freunde von gutem Ambiente sehr zu empfehlen. Die Lage ist zentral direkt neben dem Marktplatz und ideal mit einer Dachterrasse für Erholungspausen zwischendurch. Das Frühstück war vielfältig und beste Qualität mit selbst gebackenem Brot und Kuchen. Sonderwünsche wurden auch erfüllt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und gut ausgestattet, die Betten hervorragend geeignet für Leute mit Rückenproblemen.
