it's in a secluded/serene location which was nice. property has lots of potential, and seems like it's still being developed

lots of mosquitos and insects because of the stale lake in front of the rooms.

-  Superb ambience - right next to a small pond with turquoise green water - Large spacious rooms -  Easy check-in process - Very friendly front desk person - a young lad named Kito. The other person there -Aren (manager/ major domo), is also a very friendly,  helpful person.  Besides these two, did not see any other person at that level.  They're holding the fort at this resort

- Power outage is frequent.  So WiFi, TV, tea kettle does not work when there is no power. Further,  in my room, I noticed that one light in the bathroom was on inverter back-up supply, which is good thinking.  However, it's switch is outside the bathroom,  which makes access a bit difficult in case you are in the bathroom in the midst of something "important"! - Included breakfast consists of only bread, butter, eggs and sausages. No fruits,  nothing else in offer.  We stayed there for 3 days and had the same breakfast on all days. For a resort, that is a bit strange and IMHO, an area for significant improvement - Bathroom is fair sized but design could be better.  No shower curtain or shower partition,  so other parts of the bathroom also get wet after a shower - No hooks in the bathroom for hanging anything! - No fresh toiletries were offered. Some used,  half filled soap dispensers were on hand - No hangers in the cupboard.  Had to ask for them - Restaurant is closed on Monday.  This place is a bit in the boonies, so one has to plan in advance for meals on Monday - No water! Someone forgot to run the pumps.  So no water from midnight till about 0730 hrs. After that, brownish water.  As a result, we had to checkout without showering
