Split AC in the Living Room and Bedrooms

The place is nice and decent.

To be honest I really don’t want to say this but I’m being honest here and I told the staff thru text message. The linens were stinky. Basically the pillow, bedsheets, towels stink.

Absolutely awesome! Feels like home. Everything is just available. From the kitchen to the bedrooms. There was no problem during our stay. The neighborhood is also quiet. We have really enjoyed our stay. Probably will not be the last time.

So this is going to be tough to write because in the beginning, Mai went above and beyond with communication. I was in TX, USA for an event and missed correspondence for booking but when i followed up she made it to where I can book the dates in Cagayan, Philippines. Answered all my questions prior to arrival and gave good suggestions. Nenita and Jason were on site hosts as Mai is in the US. Jason picked me up from airport and Nenita had a clean rental all ready to go. The rooms had the aircon for entire home on the 2nd floor. Refrigerator was brought in on the 2nd day of stay. The location was great and a guard house is provided. A clubhouse is minutes away on foot with an amazing pool! Internet and sofa were great too.

So in the end, a few things happened that put a complete damper on this stay. *The water here is not potable, colored and stinky* 1) Mai was working with me on adjusting dates due to my error and also provided a refund when there was no cancelation. Then she thought being "fair" was providing 5K pesos back while she also gets 21 days of her rental back on the market when in fact she agreed to going through Booking.com approval and me receiving 26K pesos in return while also having me sign an agreement (can't upload pics) before I checked out. 2) When 1st discussing the stay, she immediately pitched the airport shuttle service which I agreed and needed "to and from" the airport for 2500 pesos/ 35 minute drive each way. At which in the end, I went to confirm drop off and both hosts skipped the question 3 times. When in fact, the shuttle is 2500 "one way". 3) I had 2 different guests at a max occupancy of 6 per the property rules. When the 2nd guest was known, Nenita took it upon herself to message the 1st guest about the 2nd guests presence. This is completely unacceptable and what little she knew, is the 1st guest already knew of the 2nd guest as well as personal details; plus Nenita never meet the 2nd guest.

The location is perfect and peaceful, the place is organized and spacious. Also, the owner and the attendant is very easy to contact specially about the instruction on how to self check in.

It was very visible that the aircon was not well maintained, it was too dusty and it’s not cold anymore specially at the master’s bedroom, it was just like a fan.
