A Room for a Few Hours or a Few Days

The uniqueness of the rooms is something else. Also it’s only a 10 mins drive from the airport. I paid £22.05 on booking.com

The basic amenities you would expect is not there. There’s no kettle. No teabags, no milk, no sugar. There was someone banging on the front door at around 2am. I messaged and called the owners but no response. Just be aware that the cost of taxis are quite high in Sicily. From the airport to this place is 20EUROS. Uber cost the same too. An Uber cost me 21EUROS from this place back to the airport.

The host was friendly and recoomend a good pizzeria.

1. its 1.9km from the airport not 1.2 (its not possible to walk because you need to cross the highway) 2. The location of the appartment is probably in the worst area of catania, as two girls we definitely didn‘t feel safe there 3. We felt like we entered a construction area decorated with creepy figures when we entered the appartment. ( Real size spiderman figures in interesting positions, mannequins cut into half and their legs used as vases, chopped off stuffed monkey heads on the walls) 4. The room was actually quite okay, if you are looking for a expierience. It was tidy but it was in the basement and had no window, therefore a very bad smell. We only stayed for 7 hours but couldn‘t wait to get away. We left 2 hours earlier than we had to, just to get away!

No one present to check us in, then chucked out of our room at 3am because another customer was demanding the elvis room we were in. Building works going on everywhere! Rough neighbourhood with lots of stray dogs which attempted to attack us & another couple that we’re also staying there!

small room but functional, some noise from neighbors, renovations ongoing in the entey area.
