The apartment was amazing, we had everything we needed and more. It was well equipped with appliances, linens, hygiene products, etc. The location is quite nice, in the heart of the old town, yet pretty close to the city center. The host was very helpful and friendly.

It was a little bit noisy during the night hours, but i guess that’s the charm of the neighbourhood.

Clean apartment, pretty neighbourhood, nice for a short stay. The apartment is stocked with coffee, water, tea and some cereal. It has a nice porch where you can hangout.

The neighbourhood streets are very narrow, taxi wouldn’t drive us to the apartment and it is a very big climb from the city centre. If you drive a bigger car it can be stressful. We reserved a 3 bed apartment, which isn’t really meant to be a 3 person apartment. The double bed works for 2 small people, and the couch that extends isn’t comfortable for 1 or 2 people. We are 3 big guys so maybe it’s our problem and other people won’t have problems but that is our experience.

The apartment was well equipped in the kitchen and bathroom, the hosts were super friendly he was waiting for us to get there and he helped us with our luggage, there fridge and coffee table was filled with breakfast necessity and they put all kinds of sanitaries in the bathroom, one thing I liked the most was they put a note all over the electrical devices to guide you how to use it

The blanket was awfully dirty and they didn't even have a proper sheet to cover that blanket, the mattress was old and not at all suitable for 2 people, the sheets and towels weren't white and it felt unsanitary to use, we only stayed there for a couple of hours otherwise it wasn't possible to sleep in that room last time I stayed in Thessaloniki I was in another place with almost the same price but everything was super clean, inside the apartment was wet and because of the outside noises we shut the windows and it smelled moldy inside the apartment

The hosts are very professional and have good communication. The apartment facilities are generally to high standard - coffee maker and shower are particularly good. It's also very clean. The location was great, it's the ideal to enjoy the relaxed almost island like atmosphere of the old town while being in walking distance to lots of tourist attractions The Wifi is fast enough for digital nomads and anyone who needs to do some work while they stay.

The mattress is very uncomfortable - at least if you need a firm mattress. I attached a photo you can make your own decision. That's the bare mattress, it's not a sheet. I turned it over during my stay. Before sleeping on the sofa, because it was more comfortable. The shutters dont block the light completely so bring an eye mask if that bothers you. The owner says information about additional shutters is clearly displayed but I didn't find it. They also said something about it being quite difficult to use those shutters. Maybe have easier shutters? Perhaps it could be part of the otherwise helpful check in info or displayed more prominently. If the owners changed those things I'd be happy to rate it excellent. Also worth mentioning the taverna opposite plays loud music til 2am Fri/Sat. It's Greece so...ti na kano..you can't really hear it from the bedroom but it's worth mentioning if you're sensitive to noise or sleeping on the sofa. (See mattress) Unfortunately I got Covid during my stay, despite informing the host and asking what extra measures I could take to maintain health and hygiene, the host later asked me if I "really have Covid?" after i had just given my feedback, I think because they were unhappy with it. Edit 1. The hosts seem sensitive to any criticism - even balanced. 2. Ti na kano 'what can I do' = it's Greece ( I live here) so things are often open late with music. That's the culture, it's not going to change for visitors but I do think it's equally reasonable for hosts to mention this - funnily enough you can't hear music in a photo. Can I ask for a room change? I had Covid so probably not wise... 3. Asking about Wifi for work is research prior to booking 4. I noted the professional check in and made a recommendation for improvement 5. In considering positives and negatives, I listed both, noting that subjectivity is a factor and adding qualifiers.
