Quiet and peaceful

Bed too hard

I witnessed a shooting at this airbnb during my stay here (see the local news here: https://www.wral.com/news/local/durham-man-shot-onslow-street-may-2025/). The cops and the forensic came. I was deeply traumatized and left immediately. The owner was helpful, but this was a really bad experience overall.

not dirty necessarily but could have been a bit cleaner

Comfortable, clean and well appointed. It had everything I needed for a good stay, plus a few extras like coffee, tea bags, Brita water pitcher, laundry detergent, paper plates and paper towels

Uncomfortable pillows Area carpet has unsafe curled up corners causing tripping hazard - remove or use 2 sided tape to secure it Missing kitchen dish cloths, tea towels and hand towel Ant infestation by front door, also some in bathroom and first bedroom Front door lock quit working- batteries died, had to wait for lockbox code to get hard key Move desk to back bedroom for quiet, privacy and allow more living room space

Everything about this home was so perfect. We absolutely loved it. The owners went above and beyond to accommodate our request of early check in. We will be staying here again. It is walking distance to Duke East Campus.

Everything was superb, there is nothing that we felt was lacking.
