AUSuch a beautiful modern design, everything was spotless even free Netflix was provided! The lounge area was spacious, the rooms were super cozy and the kitchen was top class. Having a washing machine and dryer was also a great win in our books :))

GBGBThe house had a view of the sea which was lovely. The hot tub was fun to use. The two double beds were extremely comfortable. It’s the first property we have stayed in that we have had some drawers in the bedroom to be able to unpack into. Lovely open plan kitchen, diner, informal seating area which was large and very social. Loved the outside seating area too. The shower water pressure was great too.
The mattresses on the two single beds weren’t very good. Then small things like there was a lack of trays/tins/dishes to use in the oven and no jugs at all either. So cooking a roast dinner one night and a lasagna the next night was pretty challenging. The lasagna ended up going in the slow cooker pot and the roast dinner gravy was served in the cafetière 😅😅 Also there were lovely wardrobes but only a few coat hangers?? Coming from the UK we don’t pack coat hangers but this has been a problem in every property we have been to??

HUThe Torquay Retreat is located in a quiet street but the main attractions as the seal colony and the whale watching are very near. The property is beautiful, well-equipped kitchen, the jacuzzi is superb and the bed is so comfortable. Perfect location, perfect place to relax.
NZaccess from car park to entrance - a challenge for one of our group with eg injury. some larger coffee cups would be great.
AUThe view was fantastic. Great place to watch the fireworks. Easy to walk to bed and close to everything.
They said on web site and also in their folder on the table, they had a microwave but couldn’t find it. Need a hand rail at the start of path as when walking down two feet from the end it’s steep and for older people is dangerous. A rail to help climb the steps would also be handy or just a small rail and and extra step at the other end of porch so you don’t have many steps to climb.
