The birdlife. The boat cruises. This is actually a fishermans mecca and the luxury appartments is suited for fishing trips. Best months to book is May to July when the water levels are higher and its cooler.

Apartment was tented and extremely hot with no proper aircon.You will pay for wifi even if does not work. No proper shop. Too little office staff. The water levels was low and farm animals from the villages was loud and visible all day. Gas geyser was installed inside the Kwena unit and very dangerous in case it could leak.

The hotel was on a great place next to the river, seeing the sunset from the restaurant was an unforgetable experience, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms were really clean and confortable, the staff of the lodge was always making sure our experience in kubu & kwena was delightful
