18 Sea Valley Bideford Bay Park Dean

The location was good. Close to the bar area and play park etc

Unfortunately the kitchen wasn’t cleaned . There were dirty utensils left in the oven and there was also food attached to oven door. The main bedroom hadn’t been cleaned and there was no light near the bed for evening reading. In the twin room there was mould on the top bunk mattress which was clearly visible from the underneath bunk. The bathroom was OK but the shelving unit obviously hadn’t been cleaned for a while. Some hand soap in the bathroom would have been good- and maybe in the kitchen too. I wouldn’t stay in this particular chalet again simply because it wasn’t clean The one we were in at Easter was spotless- also privately owned.

The location was great. Not far from Bideford itself, Clovelly, Westward Ho and Appledore close by. And Bucks Mills is a lovely little beach. The chalet had everything you need to make your stay comfortable.

The shower cubicle was a little small. Very little room to move. But the bathroom is a decent size.

Had everything we needed. Added bonus of an air fryer making it easy to cook.

Shower is pretty small but didn’t affect us.
