great location just 10 minutes from St Andrews town. The lodge was lovely very clean and in a great location

The facilities on site were not open. The children's playground was under refurbishment and we were not told on booking this, The coffee shop was not open all weekend and the clubhouse bar was all locked up by 5pm on the Sunday

Just wow !! So spacious- immaculate- very safe for the dogs - appliances excellent with complimentary toiletries

I can’t say a bad thing about the property but the location was difficult to find a walk that didn’t include the busy road

I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment with how both myself and my partner were treated during our recent stay at your lodge. Upon our arrival, we noticed that the candles were positioned near a light, and while it was not immediately clear that this could cause any issues, we proceeded to light them. Unfortunately, the heat from the candle caused the lightbulb to begin melting. As soon as we noticed the problem, we immediately blew out the candle and followed the company’s policy by reporting the incident right away. The receptionist we initially reported the issue to was unhelpful and showed little willingness to assist. As a result, we escalated the matter to the management company, who reassured us that this was not a significant problem and that accidents do happen. They also acknowledged that, given the placement of the candle, one might assume it was safe to light. We were told not to worry about the situation. To our surprise, over a week after our stay, we were informed via Booking.com that we were being charged £70 for the damage. This was particularly frustrating given that we had been explicitly told not to worry and that the incident was not a problem. Had we been advised otherwise at the time, we would have acted differently. Additionally, we were disappointed by the condition of the lodge. We found belongings left behind by previous guests in the cupboards, which clearly had not been checked before our arrival. Frankly, we left the lodge in a better condition than we found it. Given this experience, we will not be returning to your lodges, and we will not be recommending them to others. While the lodges may appear nice, the overall experience was marred by poor treatment and a lack of proper management. Please be careful when booking at this establishment, as the owners’ handling of situations like these is concerning.

We stayed as a quiet break before we are due our baby in the New year! Great as a base for all surrounding areas, Crail/Anstruther/St Andrews etc. Very clean and comfortable stay. We only booked this the Sunday before we were due to arrive on the Tuesday and I didn't struggle to communicate with the hosts to ensure that everything was ready. Will definitely return in the future with family!

We did stay midweek so it was relatively quiet. I can imagine in the summer it would have more atmosphere at the "complex" area. We did have to drive for lunch/dinner even though there was a restaurant on site but this closed pretty early midweek.
