88house Hiroshima is een kleinschalige, traditionele guesthouse (hostel) in een oud Japans huis, rustig tussen de rijstvelden net buiten Hiroshima, maar met een directe busverbinding naar het centrum. Bijzonder is de combinatie van sfeer en ligging: heel huiselijk en landelijk (rust, natuur, uitzicht op rijstvelden), maar toch in ongeveer 30–40 minuten per bus vanaf Hiroshima Station of het Vredespark bereikbaar, met een host die vaak persoonlijk helpt met tips en vervoer. Er ligt binnen ook een lijst met de bustijden. De kamer is eenvoudig, je slaapt op de grond, heb een gezamenlijke douche en wc en keuken met tafel. Als het koud is buiten, dan is het binnen ook erg koud. Maar er is een goede airco. Als locatie is het perfect, back to basic. Wij kunnen hier mee omgaan. Maar ik moet wel delen wat je kan verwachten.

This place is absolutely amazing! I recommend this to anyone who loves traditional Japanese houses. I was truly sad that I had to leave on my last day. This is in my top 3 of the best places I've stayed at. The rooms are spacious and clean. The mountain air is very refreshing. The facilities are well-kept and clean. The owner, Kengo, is beyond friendly. I highly recommend this place.

It is a little distance from Hiroshima station.

Tradicionalna hiša, v mirnem okolju v naravi. Odlična energija, prijazen gostitelj, ki zna angleško.

Quel magnifique surprise, ce logement est dépaysant et la rivière à côté offre un calme par rapport aux activités habituelles des villes. L hote très sympathique, il a pris des jouets pour nos enfants er nous a donné de chouettes conseils pour les visites de la région. Je recommande vraiment

Nous avons été très bien accueillis, notre chambre était très spatieuse, dans le style traditionnel japonais avec tatamis et futons (super confortables). Des jeux étaient à disposition pour notre bébé de 1 an, et nous avons pu utiliser la cuisine.

Il ne faisait pas très beau donc nous n’avons pas pu profiter du jardin / de l’extérieur qui nous ont paru jolis. Logement un peu excentré mais si on souhaite un style traditionnel et la tranquillité, c’est le parfait endroit ! (Bien desservi cependant : 20 min en bus depuis la station centrale de Hiroshima).

I loved my stay at 88 House! It was honestly probably the highlight of my stay. I felt so relaxed, the room was beautiful and cosy, with a peaceful river running nearby. Kengo was an amazing host, very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Hiroshima.

Our stay was excellent! We had a spacious and beautiful room with a view on the garden. The shared areas were well equipped and clean. Kengo is a kind and attentive host and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay.
