Cottage, Nine on Windsor, Kalk Bay, Cape Town

The hosts were fantastic and there was such a sense of generosity with everything they did. The kitchen was beautifully equipped with everything you needed plus some. The fridge was stocked with all sorts of extra yummy things if you were self-catering. Beds were comfy and there was a TV if needed. Lovely cosy fire with plenty of wood for a cold wet weekend. Situated just 30m around the corner from Olympia Cafe and Salt . An ideal stay for a couple of nights , we will be back.

Parking is a bit dicey , the road is narrow and the parking seems to be taken up by local residents so need to park on the other side of the Main Road, only an issue if it's raining but this was definitely not a game changer.

The attention to detail - Africology soap, freah fruit basket and fresh milk and butter in the fridge - the unit was absolutely perfect 👌🏻 The hosts also accommodated pur request for an early check in. The unit is so conveniently located in the middle of Kalk Bay. Really great place and I would stay there again!

Everything was lovely - the parking situation in Kalk bay is just shocking! Just park your car and walk everywhere

A quaint little two-bedroom cottage just a short stroll off Main Road, perfectly positioned to enjoy everything Kalk Bay has to offer without having to tackle steep hills. Everything is within easy walking distance. The cottage is well kitted out and very comfortable. The bed was particularly comfortable, and while we did not make much use of the kitchen, it was adequately equipped, well laid out, and everything worked as it should. The décor is tasteful and welcoming. The choice of restaurants, cafés, and spots for drinks or snacks nearby feels endless, all just a few minutes away on foot. The hosts were amazing and provided excellent information, making both arrival and check-out completely seamless. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to stay in one of the most picturesque coastal towns in the country. We plan to be back again fairly soon.

There has been criticism about the lack of dedicated parking. This is Kalk Bay. Almost every place has parking challenges.
