Puu Pau Hotel & Coffee Shop

We stayed here last time we were in Labaun Bajo and loved it so much we came back. The beds are comfy, the place is clean, there's access to water and tea, the courtyard is a lovely place to sit. Easy to walk everywhere from it. Above all the staff are so friendly.

La camera è molto spaziosa e dispone di ogni servizio di cui si ha normalmente bisogno. Il ristorante al piano terra è fantastico e offre una vasta scelta di bevande, colazioni e snack. The location is great, on the main strip of shops and restaurants and close enough to the harbour for boat trips. The staff were very friendly and helped us out with all of our requests.

Perfect location right in the main area and a great value. The staff was super friendly and helpful; they allowed us to check in early which made our day so much easier, and they stored our luggage for us on our checkout day, too. It put our minds at ease that they had a separate, locked room for storing bags (unlike other hotels where we saw bags stored in the lobby). The room was super spacious and very clean, comfy bed and bedding. We also really appreciated the filtered water dispenser (outside the room but super convenient). Good A/C and WiFi.

No hot water in the shower—we didn't realize this before booking, and it was okay for a few nights, but would have been rough for a longer time period and washing hair, etc.

Very nice hotel situated in the shopping area of the city Labuan Bajo. There is a terrace on the upper level that you can use for relaxing or having a breakfast/snack. Free tea and coffee for hotel guests. The rooms are spacious and very well decorated. The reception is open 24/7 and will give you and umbrella to use if going outside. This is very useful in the rainy season.

One remark - there is only a cold water inlet for the shower and bathroom sink. Since you are in a tropical area the water is not that cold and perfectly manageable, but if you need to have a hot shower, this is not the place for you.

In total we stayed 5 days in Puu Pau Hotel and had a great time. Staff was very nice and helpfull

Only thing that there was no hot water, but you get used to it so wasn’t a big deal
