Review On the plus side the condo was clean and the bed mattresses were good. However, this is offset by many minor and major issues. The condo has a very tired decor from the 1980s (?) with an electric cooker to match this period. Tin foil under the cooker rings? What? We are not in peak summer yet and I feel for those who will be in this condo as the temperature of the bedroom upstairs was too hot despite the plethora of electric fans that made little effect to cool the room. The toilets appear to have been made for children as they are so small you literally fall back down on them. The stair light didn’t work. The Wi-Fi didn’t work. Trying to go to websites or use apps wasn’t possible as the system is clearly unable to deal with anything apart from the odd email if you were lucky. A sign on the entrance said the management were aware of Wi-Fi not working properly but in the three days we stayed nothing was done to fix this and, talking to others, this has been an issue for some time. So for the entirety of our stay we had no acceptable Wi-Fi at all. Appalling for so many reasons. Another big issue that shows these condos are in a backwards time warp is that there is no recycling for bottles, plastics etc and everything goes in trash. In the 21st century and in a major National park this is surely totally unacceptable.

It was easy to prepare meals, the fireplace kept the condo warm. We liked having the Roku.

The smell in the condo basically ruined our visit and when visited by the maintenance people, we were told there was no smell. That was very frustrating. We did learn there was plumbing issue last year, which necessitated an air purifier to help with the smell and that did help a little, but I do not appreciate being told there is no issue. Whether the current smell is related to the plumbing issue from last year or not is irrelevant. There is a smell and it definitely ruined our stay. I tried to negotiate a partial refund without success. I would not recommend staying in this particular condo until the issue is resolved.

One bed was considered “good”. My bed had a sink hole from all the heavy renters on that spot (closest to the stairs). I had to sleep on the other side. But the bedding was thick snd warm.

(Above) One mattress needs to be replaced (old). We didn’t have any control (or instructions to operate) condo heat or fireplace so cold!!! staying at 63 degrees. Carpet on stairs needs to be cleaned - filthy. Upstairs shower - wasn’t - only a thin steam of cold water came out so had to use downstairs shower to get warm water and shower pressure. That bathmat rug also needs to be washed. Upstairs toilet had black (partial) ring at water level. And most importantly the door lock code (last 5 reservation #) DIDN’T WORK. Only by repeatedly pushing the Ring door monitor did someone finally answer and give us an alternate code to get inside at 6pm. Finally, walls are paper thin so noise while trying to get to sleep is an issue.

Place is clean, has all the things we needed. Location is great and the most important thing is they have 2 bathrooms so worked out great for 5 of us.

The walls are paper thin!! The family next door to us were super noisy throughout the whole night. If you’re a light sleeper, do bring some earplugs.

In the photos, the apartment looked standard, and just before entering, I thought it might be small. When I walked inside, I was very surprised. The apartment was incredibly spacious, equipped with everything imaginable, including two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a balcony with a grill! Very clean and well-maintained. Located in a National Park, away from city crowds and noise. Highly recommended!
