Great location and well fitted out apartment

The location is perfect! About 200m from the sea but that area is full of rocks. To be at the nearest public beach it's about 1Km walk. City center, old and new are in walking distance.

The apartment was described as having a privat swimming pool at the time we booked. Now it states as you have to pay for it. When we asked the owner about it, he was very brief in his response as: Who needs a swimming pool when you have a sea like this!? We travelled with 2 seventeen years old's, and chose this place 50% because of the swimming pool. So this changed from the start our whole trip! It looks on the pictures that the pool is between the apartments where you stay, but it's actually between a different apartment complex. Price per day is 20€ for 2 bed and a parasol. And it's only open a couple hours in the morning, then closes and a opens couple hours in the afternoon. One of the rooms didn't have air conditioning (which the owner showed us, is installed after our stay) so the room was pretty warm at night as the cold air didn't reach that room. The matrass in that room for was also not from the best quality for us (different people, different needs of course). Also when we arrived the owner started talking about how cheap we had the rooms and that he made a mistake because he just started working with Booking. But you see in other reviews (from 2023) that he said the same thing to other people. In regards of the aircon, the owner doesn't know we know (now he will) he can turn up, down and off the air-conditioning. The aircon is connected with WIFI and he doesn't have to be in the building to 'play' with it. We found the aircon put on a higher temperature without touching it, we found it off when we turned it on. One night when we went out we switched off the WIFI router and not even 10 minutes later we got a message on WhatsApp with the question if the power went down in the apartment. When we said no, all is fine, he asked us to reboot the router!?

Very helpful and very responsive host, with plenty of advice (I had some car rental problem, and then a flat tyre). Quite comfortable and spacious apartment with big balcony. Air conditioning in the main room (however it was impossible to cool down the other rooms as they were too far away) and ceiling fans in every room. Elevator in the building, no problem with parking the car right in front of the building. Fairly quiet neighbourhood. I would recommend this to families with small kids – the host has a baby bed and baby chair available for rent.

The kitchen could see some improvements (no cutting board, no proper cutting knife, gas stove had only one working sparker, old pan so skewed that you had to hold it all the time to keep it stable). Incomplete toiletries. There are few things that require only a quick fix (unstable towel hanger, door frame falling apart, etc.).
