Scotston Villa - 5 bedroom house with hot tub

The House was definitely large enough for our family get together. Beds comfortable. And plenty of space. Host was helpful in any questions or problems we had. On the plus side the garden was lovely, very private very well maintained and the hot tub was great!!!!

The House was definitely large enough for our family get together. Beds comfortable. Generally tidy, could have done with a little bit more of a clean, house smelt unused and could have done with being aired for a while. Fridge was on the small side for a house that accommodates up to ten people. Was some lacking in basic kitchen utensils. Not enough cutlery, plates bowls. Out of six light bulbs in the hallway only three were working. Just needs a bit more attention to make it a good stay. Considering the cost.

So much space! Lovely big rooms and plenty storage in each. Comfy settees, well thought out in terms of games and toys for kids and adults. Garden was fantastic, beautifully kept and enclosed with added bonus of hot tub. Plenty parking available and close to town centre.

A little dated decor wise (although very clean) and could have done with a second shower upstairs. Not enough cutlery or glasses for 10 guests.

it was a self catering house which had beautiful enclosed garden and the weather was excellent. so spent most of time in the garden listening to birds singing. Host very kindly supplied started pack

Although 2 bathrooms only 1 shower . Liked the separate toilet and sink so no need to go upstairs if someone using the shower. Bedrooms were decorated nicely but felt a TV,s in bedrooms would have been beneficial. Kitchen was well equipped was a supply of dishwasher tablets cloth and washing up liquid, but could have done with a more thorough clean as plates and other items were sticky and the oven was in need of clean. Not that close to shops

Location was great. Size of rooms was good too. Lovely house but just needs a few things looked at to make it better. Owner left some toys out for kids to play with too which was a nice touch.

Too high a level of chlorine in hot tub. Needs more kitchen pots and utensils. Some lightbulbs need replaced (in kitchen and bedside lamps). Bath wasn't clean enough. Didn't have basic stuff left in property (like hand-wash in bathrooms and washing up liquid in kitchen).
