The Six Bells Barn, Preston St Mary, Suffolk.

The location is great, close to Lavenham with its arts & crafts and lovely Co-ops for our bits & bobs. Easy to travel and connect with family, as we planned. We enjoyed the good food and ambiance of the Six Bells pub, as recommended by others. The barn is a bijou, smart, clean and comfortable dwelling with free parking & all the amenities we could ask for. The bed was perfect & so comfortable, we had 2 nights of snuggling there. The kitchen has every item you might need for cooking & meal for prep. The sofa was lovely and restful, a small dining table and chairs for eating in if you wish. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The staff were friendly and helpful too.

Nothing we did not like at the Six Bells Barn. The only minor thing was a footstool in the living room, purely a comfort item. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Very rural and in a small village.

The large grass area at the back of the pub for the dog 🐕 to enjoy in safety. Very quiet in the morning. Food and drink were excellentin the pub..

The accommodation was very comfortable and clean. The lounge and bedroom were of a good size. The food at the pub was excellent too.

Due to the limited bathroom space the shower was very small. However that was the only fault we could find with the place.

We stayed here for the first time a few weekends ago and loved it so much we can back three weeks later. A lovely location, in a quiet, country village. The barn is at the back of the pub with its own separate entrance, so is very private. It is kitted out with all the facilities you could possibly think of needing, with its own little kitchen and lounge room. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Extremely comfy bed and a quiet, peaceful nights sleep. The staff in the pub are a small team, all friendly and welcoming and the food is fantastic, all homemade and reasonably priced.

Everything about the property was perfect!!

This was the perfect little bolthole whilst we were visiting friends in Suffolk. Not somewhere you'd want to spend huge amounts of time, but great for a couple of days where you might need to occasionally have somewhere to retreat back to and have a cup of tea and read a book. Plus it is right next to a really lovely pub which certainly helps!

Good quality throughout and spotlessly clean. The adjoining pub was buzzing but not too full and though the menu looked like typical pub food, it was very well prepared.

Comfy bed but quite narrow.
