York Central No 1, within the city walls, free parking

We would definitely consider staying here again and recommend the flat to any able bodied who want to stay, although recommend any couples staying and using just one of the two bedrooms to choose the bedroom closer to the lounge for the more comfortable sleep. Thank you Kathryn and thank you Laura for looking after us so well ❤️😀

The whole stay was wonderful. We loved the Hudson Quarter accommodation and this apartment in the King's block in particular. We felt extremely pampered and looked after. Loved the courtyard garden and the privacy right at the heart of the city within steps of the railway station. One of the beds was great but as others have noted in reviews the other was spongy. The walk in shower had no grips or provisions for those needing even a little bit of support to keep them steady and giving the confidence of stepping in and out. Had to wait to wash hair until we got home.

Very clean and comfortable. Location was amazing - right across from the train station and then not far to walk into town. Communication with Kathryn and Laura was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous apartment, spotlessly clean, modern, spacious with all amenities. The location was perfect for the town centre, lovely grounds also and had parking for one car and we parked another at the train station which cost £15 for the whole weekend (Fri- Mon) and it’s a 5 mins walk to the apartment. I would highly recommend and will definitely return. The owner is also lovely with fantastic communication .

Beautiful apartment with excellent facilities. The host and housekeeping were very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for exploring York, walking distance to all attractions. The apartment is very quiet and the car parking space is a bonus. There is plenty of space for two couples to relax together and separately. Two bathrooms and two bedrooms also allow for privacy.

All good at York Central No1 ,enjoyed everything about it . Great communication and Kathryn and Laura made every effort to make our stay a memorable one.

Very comfortable apartment with great finishes and furniture. The location was excellent as a base to explore the city and the apartment had a view of the city wall. We felt safe and secure

The only negative is that the lounge is very close to the neighbouring block. But there are blinds.

Fantastic place to stay. Apartment is modern, clean and very quiet. Parking is great and location is spot on. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Coffee machine was a lovely treat! Welcome pack and milk was a very nice touch. Thank you ☺️

The only thing I would recommend is for there to also be a hairdryer in the second bedroom but that’s it.

Fantastic location! Lovely host, very helpful great communication. Apartment was great, it was clean, stylish and everything we needed. It was a bonus to have free secure parking. 100% we will return so happy to have found this little gem. 😊
