Y Llew Bach, the tiny house

The location is great, a quiet rural little village - perfect for a short, peaceful break. The bed was comfy, and grateful that it is dog friendly. For the price, it is okay.

Property wasn't the cleanest, large cobwebs around the place and looked like it needed a deep clean. The bathroom needed a good clean as well. The kitchen is listed as 'fully equipped kitchen', but this is not right as there is a small fridge and microwave in the cupboard under the stairs. There was a kettle near the window, with teas and coffees, etc. The downstairs area is small, but if the space is utilised properly, then a small TV would fit. The property has a lot of potential really.

This is a thoughtful conversion of an outbuilding into a holiday let; perfect for a younger couple, but probably too small for a family. I appreciated the clever use of a cupboard to add a microwave and fridge, so that we were able to pop to the Co-Op in nearby Llanrwst and buy ready meals. The owners have kindly provided books, DVDs and games, along with tea and coffee making facilities. The location is pretty remote and apart from the odd car once or twice an hour, the main noise is the distant bleating of sheep. It's an idyllic, peaceful setting.

Although the owners have done everything they can to make the place welcoming and comfortable, there was a damp smell that the plug-in air fresheners failed to conceal. My luggage still smells of it, several days later. I was also disappointed that the well-reviewed pub is only open for four days a week. The listing does mention that, but I failed to notice this when booking, so we missed the main plus of this place. My fault, I know, so if you book, bear this in mind. The gable roof of the upstairs floor is very low - even if the middle of the room, you can only just stand up - so getting in and out of bed could be challenging. I wouldn't recommend this for anyone with mobility problems.

This quaint little house is so sweet, it has everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay. We stayed in the colder months and had no issues with the house being warm enough. In fact with both heaters it was too warm! So we just switched one off. The house is located in a small village, surrounded by stunning countryside. Laying in bed at night and in the morning listening to the stream trickling and the sheep baa’ing was so perfect for us. We were able to park next to the house and walked around the village. The neighbors were very chatty and knowledgeable of the local area and Eryri. We are planning to visit again next year and even make it a yearly holiday.

Absolutely nothing, it was excellent and we have so many wonderful memories of our stay.

Cosy, comfortable and very rustic. We really enjoyed our night in the tiny house. Dinner next door in the pub was excellent, a great and varied menu with something for everyone. The apple crumble and custard was delicious 😋 We also joined in with the quiz night, the locals were so friendly.

Beautiful location amazing little house would recommend to anyone. Brilliant price for such a lovely little home to stay in.
