The location is great. With nice view and quiet. Easily drive from the town. The kitchen is well equipped. A perfect place to stay with friends and family.

Location, hot tub, balcony view

Construction site next door, felt like living in a builders yard with numerous trucks and pick ups parked on door step. Noise from angle grinders and other power tools. Extremely heavy duvet. Instruction booklet out of date. No wear to hang clothes outside.

Our accommodation offered a serene and picturesque escape that felt like a home away from home. It provided a perfect balance of tranquility and accessibility, being just a short drive from the bustling Queenstown centre. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed, including a complete kitchen, washing machine, and outdoor spa.

The property was very homely, warm and comfortable. We really enjoyed having a fireplace with extra firewood to use and the spa was a beautiful and relaxing addition. Also the extra dishwashing tablets and laundry power was appreciated.

There was construction going on right outside of the property which made it difficult to find and access with a car as there were several other cars and trucks outside.

The bathroom heater wasn't working so very chilly in there but I'm sure that's an easy fix.

The cabin set out was great, had everything needed for a comfortable stay. I loved the spa - was fabulous sitting in after a big adventure day. What set this apart from other places I looked at was having a washing machine and dryer for use, meant we didn't need to pack as much. The scenery from the deck is amazing!

Being summer time the cabin was quite hot - there were no fans, only aircon in the dining/living area so suggestion would be to put some fans in or a couple of pedestal fans or aircon in the main bedroom at least. The shower/bath was a bit difficult to get in and out unless moving the screen every time. It was not stated on the booking description that there was construction happening on the houses around the cabin. Although this did not really affect us too much.

Very comfortable ‘Lockwood-type’ cabin. Comfortable beds. Well-equipped kitchen.

We were three people at the property for four days - one hand towel in the bathroom, no hand-towel in the kitchen and just one bath towel each was stretching it perhaps. Every other aspect was excellent however.

We loved having our own log cabin house in the mountains with those amazing views of the lake and mountain whilst relaxing in the hot tub ❤️ and also being a 10 min drive out of the city centre gave us the quite holiday without the noise. The log fire was lovely.

A beautiful wood house for a different experience. There's fire to keep the living room warm (a heater too at dining area). A comfortable stay as there is everything there one may need. Big balcony with beautiful scenery and a spa pool which we didn't use as the weather was too cold. Host was responsive though not in town.

Heater in bathroom and one of the rooms not in working condition. There's a portable heater that we needed to move around between bathroom and bedroom. No shampoo provided (other toiletries yes). Dryer is hung very high, inconvenient for people with normal height. Gas ran out halfway cooking and was replaced the next morning. Bedroom lighting isn't bright enough (personal preference only). The road is very dark at night, driving back from town centre.

The property was everything we thought it would be. It was quiet and out of the way, while still being close enough to drive to Queenstown for activities when needed. It also had the added bonus of being very close to some excellent walking trails, as well as a gateway to the town of Glenorchy. The kitchen and laundry were a huge help, and saved us time and money. The spa overlooking the lake and mountains was a great feature, as well as having access to the fireplace and plenty of firewood for those chilly winter nights.
