The West Wing - Bride Valley - Jurassic Coast

If you like quirky and eccentric, yet peaceful and in the middle of nature, this property is the place. It’s like Cinderella’s godmother plonked a mini-castle in the middle of beautiful Dorset hills and meadows. The ground-floor apartment gives 18th century gloriousness but with all mod-cons. The beds are very comfy, the rooms spacious and clean, and the grounds are gorgeous. We even had our own mini-garden from which we could spy on the pet duck in the pond next door… Evie, the host, is lovely, friendly and gracious, and made us feel very welcome.

Two minor things: the bathroom had a large bath, but not a hook to hang the showerhead from - so you need to wash yourself whilst sitting in the bath. And the kitchen could do with an electric coffee maker.

Great quiet location with lovely scenery and comfy accommodation.

The self-catering apartment was left immaculate for us and our host or her mother were always on hand if we needed anything. It's a very interesting house and grounds with lots to explore and fabulous views.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Welcoming host. Charming wing in a stunning rural location. Excellent position for fossil hunting and exploring the beautiful jurassic coast.

Lovely unique place to stay!

The property was nestled in the Dorset countryside not too far from the coast and close to the local attractions. It was a really nice apartment - clean, comfy, spacious with everything we needed. Evie the host was really friendly and welcoming
