The Elegant & Cozy Retreat

Wow this was just what we we’re looking for, the House is beautiful in a perfect community, lots of room really clean and If you are lucky enough to meet Lucy she is one of the sweetest ladies you will ever come across!

Except for an issue in trying to get into the house (no code sent and nobody home), Lucy was a wonderfully kind and thoughtful host.

Elegant looking house in a very upscale neighborhood. First impression was impressive but it ended there. JURA coffee machine ok, but would have preferred the regular drip machine seen in the pictures. Roomy refrigerator. Comfortable furniture. Great bed. A very high end massage chair in family room. Great price for area but you get what you pay for.

Had to make our own bed, Toilet in private bath dirty with significant brown film under rim; bathroom not dusted in awhile; shower had build up grime around edges, floor not swept; common area toilet had significant toilet bowl ring; oven had significant baked on food-not cleaned in awhile; microwave grimy with odors of old food; frying pan still had remnants of food and oil; dish washer reeked like rotten meat-could not wash smell out. The "lounge" and game room is actually the family room. No dart board, maybe some board games hidden somewhere. Our room was one of four rented out simultaneously. Clutter everywhere in kitchen and family room. This is basically a B and B where you bring your own breakfast. No "staff" on site as advertised in descriptor of property. Overall this property did not meet expectations.

It was a beautiful home and Lucy could not have been more pleasant.

This is a very nice home in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. The entire house is exceptionally well decorated. It was a great location for touring the areas east of Seattle. Lucy is a gracious, charming, friendly, unassuming, and down-to-earth hostess. We, various guests, and Lucy ended up having an impromptu stand-up dinner in the kitchen while talking about anything that came to mind. Very comfortable place to stay.

Nothing important. There was no TV in my room but the WiFi was good for streaming on my laptop.

The house was beautiful and clean. Everything worked well.
