VLT214 - Charming Valletta Townhouse

Just step into the apartment the atmosphere and aura was like medieval time . Old, strong, organised. Each room has a window, 2 balconies. Location is perfect, very important Quiet place. We were there to visit Andre Rieu performance in Floriana- just 15 min walking distance.

Location, location, location! Good beds. Bright and airy. Nice little balcony. 4 blocks to great market, and awesome food court. 1 block to Merchant's Street and lots! of great outside dining options. Three blocks to seaside, and two wonderful restaurants.

Dirty floors, plugged shower drain, extremely poor lighting, no recycling info, worn out couches, minimal kitchen equipment. 4 floors: entry, then 15 steps to Bath, then 10 steps to main floor with twin bedroom,dining, living room, kitchen, and fimally13 steps to 4th floor master bedroom. Anyone over 5'8" would hit their head on three support beams in bathroom. Anyone over 6'1 would hit their head in the 4th floor master bedroom support beams.

We stayed at the Charming Valetta Townhouse with my husband and two children. It was an unforgettable beginning to our trip to Malta - staying in the Old Town was the best choice. The Townhouse is very old, which makes it a very genuine experience. It isn't the cleanest true, but the beauty and history of the place make up for the lack of luxury. It has two balconies that you can observe the city from and even see the Sea from both sides. The bedroom is on the very top and the bathroom on the very bottom, which makes it at times a challange with little kids, but for adults it is not a problem. The owner/manager was very friendly and replied to our messages very quickly. I recommend this place for everyone who wants a real historical experience in Valletta. It is close to everything in the city. Very romantic and beautiful.
