Cosy log cabin in Snowdonia 19

The cabin was gorgeous - very cosy and nicely done. The space was just right for a family of four and the setting is just beautiful - it looks like you are in the forest when you look outside the window! The water pressure was shockingly good and the double bed was very comfortable. There is ample parking right in front of the cabin. I loved that everything was labeled and there were clear instructions inside the cabin, leaving no doubt. There is a stack of pamphlets, which is useful for brainstorming about what to do. The kids had their own little desks in front of the window to do activities on, which they loved. We didn't get to enjoy the deck, as the weather was wet, but it is an excellent addition to the space, both for enjoying a meal and for hanging out. The cabin had been cleaned really well, which added to the comfort of the place. While the temperature dropped at night, the cabin remained warm and we didn't feel the need use the heating. There is a good number of windows to air the space during the day and there are lots of sockets, which can be handy. You need to bring your own towels, coffee or tea and spare loo rolls.

None of the below are the hosts' fault, but things to keep in mind. Be careful when driving or walking around the village - even though it's meant to be low speed and some bends have limited visibility, there are always idiots who treat it like a formula 1 rally. I was very disappointed, especially with the amount of children around. The cabin had been cleaned to a really high standard, so it's frustrating that previous renters had not washed the oven rack (food was still stuck on it, not being picky here...) or had half-washed some of the dishes and crockery. This is the only thing the owners ask for (leave the property tidy and the dishes washed and put away), so it's disrespectful not to do so...

Wonderful location,village holiday park is located in beautiful area. Cabin is nice,clean and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday.Big deck is bonus especially for dogs to keep secure. Dog walking area is across the cabin.Beds are comfortable,Internet is good.,Netflix.Kids really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

Recliner sofa is a bit bumpy and not very comfortable,but it didn't spoil our stay. Bring some insect repellent with you as there are annoying midges.

The cabin was excellent, great facilities and exceptional location, especially if you have dogs, it was a lovely experience and much more than we were expecting, we are already planning to return for another holiday in same place, thank you to the host for everything, much appreciated!

Great location for what we needed, the price was very reasonable for the time of year, lovely location on the side of the village overlooking the countryside not other cabins, felt homely.

As there were still no leaves on the trees we had a mountain view. The dog walking area was just next to the cabin few steps away. Anti slip strips were installed on the decking so we would walk safely on it. Heating was good, worked very quick as they get very hot. TV with normal programmes or DVD. Very comfortable mattress. Overall very nice stay. Just few bits that could improve.

The recliner sofas in the lounge were very worn and uncomfortable in any position, could do with the new ones. The cutlery was just enough for one meal, could do with more especially if you plan to have few different meals one after another. Could do with more bigger pans, saucepans, some big salad mixing bowl. No cereal bowls. There were more cutlery and plastic dishes for babies than for grown ups. Toilet start to flush slowly on the 4th day of staying, and shower water was also not going down, probably something with pipes, but we were going home so didn't know how it was later. Filter in the vacuum smelt when we used it.

Lovely, cosy cabin. Not overlooked by others nearby so felt really private. Great location to get to lots of different places.
