hot water, good air con, friendly staff, big rooms, not a bad location

nothing really, there are dogs at the property. we didn’t mind this as we love dogs and they don’t really bother you at all either

There are two dogs for security on the premise. While they won't harm you, they will keep you awake. There are lots of street dogs and as soon as they start to bark and howl, the dogs on the premise join them. It is simply impossible to get a good night's rest here. When we confronted the owner, they said that this might happen from time to time. Well, in reality it happened several times every single night. We didn't know about the dogs before because it isn't stated anywhere on the website. Otherwise we wouldn't have booked this room. Also, the street itself it super noisy. The bathroom has no real window. Just holes in the wall and some hard plastic in front of it. This does not keep any noise out. The pictures depict the room as very light but in reality it's super dark. Either you draw the curtains to have privacy but don't have any light or you open them to have light but no privacy. We were two people and they provided us only with two towels for 5 nights. Extra towels would have cost 250 Pesos per towel. We have never encountered something like this in our travels. Usually, you are provided with 2 towels per person and if not, then you get extra towels for free. The owner said that this policy is clearly communicated but it was only communicated to us upon asking for towels. All in all, we can definitely not recommend this apartment

Owner was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and the common areas were fully equipped for you to cook (if you like). Location was perfect close to the beach and many restaurants /cafe!

There was a moisture smell in the room
