Yay Lodge SIARGAO, private room 2 with AC & hot shower and fast Starlink Wifi

The lady on the property tried at least to help even if she couldn’t do much.

We didn’t received the room we booked. The rooms are looking different, this is reflected in the different prices and reviews as well on Booking.com. We paid for a higher category room and the room we received was clearly lower. The owner try to tell us that they are all the same price even if I told him I have the screenshot about the differnt pricing. Ants street in the room, animals (probably rats) walking on the roof, water smells like rotten egg and metals (we know the water quality in the Philippines is lower standard than for example in Europe but this was next level smell). The owner was offering to change in room 1 which was a little bit better but still not the one we booked. There was no solution - the answer was just ,,The room you booked is not available’’. As well the owner tried to blame us for the mistake and said that it’s an inconvenience for them. Well we expected to be in the room we booked. This didn’t happen so it’s not our fault if this is a inconvenience?? Very disappointing and stressful for us. We definitely don’t recommend.

Tutto ok, lo staff molto disponibile e accogliente. Wifi buono.

L’acqua della doccia aveva un odore un po’ metallico, ma ci è successo in altri posti dell’isola quindi è normale.

Really liked it, staff on location so lovely. Loved the design, decor, kitchen, clean, modern, spacious.

Some Noise as i was real close to the road.

Very comfortable place with good kitchen facilities. Great location between surf breaks and general luna town if you have a scooter. Stayed for 2 weeks and enjoyed our stay, nice homely vibes.
